Ateneo GSB’s Featured Hero Graduate for the month is Regan Rex T. King
The NEW Normal has brought a NEW breed of Entrepreneurs.
Among them is our featured Ateneo Gsb Hero Graduate for the month of June, Regan King Regan Rex T. King, a graduate of our Ateneo-Regis MBA Program.
Despite his varied interests and ventures such as RDAK Transport Equipment Inc., RDAK Global Motors Inc. and D’Limitless Vehicle Ventures, he believes that learning is mandatory in adapting to this New World that we’re living in.
For him, willingness to learn contributes to greatness of an individual and this can open up a lot of opportunities in the future.
As per Regan, Ateneo GSB has been a catalyst for him to gain new skills relevant in solving problems of his current community in Cebu.
We were able to interview Regan and here’s a snippet of our interview with him:
Ateneo GSB: What is your current profession? What is your designation?
Regan: I am the COO of our family business engaged in trading
RDAK TRANSPORT EQUIPMENT INC. (dealer of several Brand new China trucks and heavy equipments; BRP Products (Seadoo jetski, CanAm ATV and trike)
RDAK GLOBAL MOTORS INC. (dealer of Harley-Davidson of Cebu and Harley-Davidson of Davao)
D’ Limitless Vehicle Ventures Inc. (dealer of Fuso Trucks and Buses)
Ateneo GSB: What for you is an Ateneo GSB Hero Graduate?
Regan: I am a driven person and I am an Ateneo GSB Hero Graduate, being a leader is to serve and be humble always.
Ateneo GSB: What has Ateneo GSB taught you?
Regan: Ateneo GSB has taught me the skills and endless possibilities to grow as an entrepreneur as long as we are willing to learn.
Ateneo GSB: What is your program and why did you apply to it?
Regan: My Program is Ateneo-Regis MBA program and I have applied it in my career/ profession and this has helped me by analyzing and strategizing the growth of our business.
Ateneo GSB: What is the meaning of Magis for you?
Regan: Magis is the core of my soul, I show Magis through all the things I do in life dedicating it Ad Majorem Dei Gloraim (for the Greater Glory of God)
Ateneo GSB: How do you exemplify as a Hero Graduate this new normal, please enumerate the ways.
Regan:
-Never fear of the uncertainties and learn to face changes by adopting to the new ways in doing business like doing the digital transformation
-Learn to trust in God that everything is in His honor and glory like providing the needs of the employees especially medical needs even during tough times
-Learn to see the new business opportunities that have evolved because of the new normal…this way we are able to provide the solutions to the needs and wants of the people
Ateneo GSB: Please state what have you been doing this pandemic
Regan:I have been expanding my skills during the pandemic learning things that I am not able to do during normal times because I was too busy with work. I have been learning to enhance my artistic skills through learning to play guitar and cooking, learning to grow hydroponics farming to promote food sustenance; read more books to enhance business skills, strategic thinking and personal growth. Aside from all these, I am also active in helping the community recover due to covid pandemic like donating equipment essentials like PPE, vitamins, sanitation/ disinfection chambers to the front liners and the victims of covid through the organizations that I am involved such as Philippine Red Cross, Boys Scouts of the Philippines and Cebu Chamber of Commerce.
Ateneo GSB: How are you helping the community this pandemic?
Regan: Aside from all these, I am also active in helping the community recover due to covid pandemic like donating equipment essentials like PPE, vitamins, sanitation/ disinfection chambers to the front liners and the victims of covid through the organizations that I am involved such as Philippine Red Cross, Boys Scouts of the Philippines and Cebu Chamber of Commerce.
