Ma. Marivic R. Ignacio, DBA, MPA, CMA

Economics, Finance and Accounting

Marivic Ignacio holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Maryknoll College, with honors, and a Master’s in Professional Accounting with a specialization in Controls and Systems from The University of Texas at Austin. She earned her Doctorate in Business Administration from Baliuag University.

Her certifications include Public Accountancy (1992-1998) from the Texas State Board of Public Accountants and Management Accounting from CMA Australia. Additionally, Marivic received Entrepreneurship Educator’s training certificates from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Babson College in the USA.

Before assuming the role of President and Chairman of the Board at Unirock Corporation (1998 to 2015), Marivic was the controller of Manufacturing Financial Services North America at Schlumberger Oilfield Services in Texas, USA (1991 to 1998). Additionally, she holds a decade of experience in the food and beverage industry as owner and operator of multiple restaurants. Notably, she contributed to Enderun Colleges, where she held the position of Department Head for the College of Business and Entrepreneurship (2015 to 2021).

Marivic actively applies her accounting and entrepreneurship expertise as the Entrepreneur in Residence at the Link Center for the Deaf.
