Carlo A. Subido graduated BS Electrical Engineering at UP Diliman in 1987, Master in Business Economics through the Strategic Business Economics Program of the University of Asia and the Pacific in 2010. He is currently teaching Information Technology and Healthcare Informatics Management (with Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health). He was Board Director of Intel Technologies Phils. and past President of the Infocomm Technology Association of the Philippines. He is also a former Board Trustee of the UP Alumni Engineers, PSHS National Alumni Association, PSHS Foundation Inc. and Beta Epsilon Alumni Inc.
He has been with the ICT industry for over 3 decades. He started his career in the technical field as a Customer Engineer, Systems Engineer, then as a Systems Architect before moving into Sales and Marketing of Servers, Storage, PCs, Networking Hardware, Software Applications, Software Development and Systems Integration Services in various multinational companies such as AMD, Dell, IBM, Intel, Sun Microsystems and Unisys and with local companies Exbyte Technologies, LAMCO International, Leverage Systems Technologies, Pilipino Telephone, Sandz Solutions and Zeus Networks.
He also held key regional roles as Hanoi Chief Representative and Country Product Executive for IBM Vietnam, ASEAN Business Development Manager -Software Group for IBM World Corp. and Regional (Country) Manager for Intel Mongolia.
Prof Carlo is currently the Vice President of MEC Networks Corporation, a premier ICT Distributor in the Philippines.
