Subject :      Graduation Ceremonies and Baccalaureate Mass for Class of 2020

The Baccalaureate Mass and Graduation Ceremonies of the Ateneo Graduate School of Business (AGSB) for the Class of 2020 will be held on October 17, 2021 (Sunday) from 3:00 to 5:00 pm. The mass and ceremonies will be conducted online.

Coverage

The Graduation Ceremonies cover those who received their final passing grades in the Strategic Management capstone course (STRAMA) by the end of the Third Trimester of SY 2019-20 (September 19, 2020).

Clearance

Students that have not done so yet, can still apply for graduation clearance at the Registrar Online Services in the AGSB website. Once completed, students can monitor the status of their clearance on the same page. The deadline for the graduation clearance of those who wish to be included in the October 17 Graduation Ceremonies is September 3, 2021.

Date of Graduation

(Policy on the Date of Graduation and Graduation Clearance – RO Memo August 6, 2020)

AGSB has three graduation dates corresponding to the last class day of the trimester when the students complete their academic and graduation requirements. The graduation date does not pertain to the date of commencement exercises.

The Date of Graduation indicated in the Diploma, Transcript of Records, and other documents is based on the date when the student complies with all academic requirements (i.e., when the student receives the final grade in STRAMA encoded in the AGSB Student Information System). Once the Registrar’s Office receives all the grades, including the final STRAMA grade, the date of graduation for that student would be the last day of classes of that trimester (even for Regis students).

Application, Payment and Distribution of Diplomas and TORs

Graduates can apply for copies of their graduation credentials consisting of the Latin Diploma, the English translation of the Diploma, copies of the Official Transcript of Record, and the Regis Certificate (for Ateneo-Regis MBA graduates) at the Request for Graduation Credentials link found in the Registrar’s Online Services page. The process for obtaining these documents is as follows:

  1. Request for your documents at the Request for Graduation Credentials link.
  2. Once your assessment is sent to you, pay for your documents. Instructions are contained in the e-mail to be sent to you.
  3. Schedule the pickup of your documents which will be sent to you once payment is confirmed. Click on Monitor Status in the Graduation Credentials link.

Staff of the Registrar’s Office will be onsite at the Rockwell Campus every Wednesday and Saturday. In order to avoid crowding, a scheduling system is adopted that will accommodate 30 graduates a day from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon.
