The 2017 Baccalaureate Mass and Commencement Exercises of the Ateneo Graduate School of Business (AGSB) will be held on Sunday, October 08, 2017 at the Henry Lee Irwin, S. J. Theater, Grade School complex, Ateneo de Manila University, Loyola Heights, Quezon City. The schedule of graduation-related activities is presented below. The important details and instructions will guide you in your planning. I ask for everyone’s cooperation in ensuring a successful and meaningful ceremony.

August 30, 2017 (Thursday)

Deadline for completing all the requirements needed for graduation:

1. Successful completion of all courses required for the degree.
2. Successful defense of Strategic Management paper and submission of final copies of this paper.
3. Attendance at the Student Orientation Program
4. Submission of the following documents to the Office of the Registrar:

a. Official Transcript of Records for undergraduate program and/or graduate program with the notation “VALID FOR TRANSFER”
b. Authenticated copy of NSO Birth Certificate/Marriage Certificate

September 7, 8, and 9, 2017 (Thursday, Friday, 1:00 to 7:00 pm and Saturday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm)

STEP 1: Completion of Graduation Clearance AGSB Registrar’s Office

STEP 2: Payment of the Graduation, Diploma, and English Translation Fees

a. Graduation Fee                                                         P 1,500.00

c. Official English translation of the Diploma        P     155.05

N.B. A P 200 late payment penalty will be charged for all payments made
after September 9, 2017

STEP 3: Toga Measurement

Graduates should pay the toga rental fee and refundable deposit through
bank deposit in the name of GSA Academic Regalia Shop in any of the
following accounts:

a. BPI Account Number 3089 2011 43
b. BDO Account Number 0086 5800 2929

Validated deposit slip will be given to GSA Regalia representatives upon
measurement. Representative will not accept cash payments on the day of

Toga rental fee is P 1,000.00 and deposit is P 3,000.00. The deposit will
be refunded upon return of the toga immediately after the graduation
ceremonies. There is a penalty of P 500.00 per day of delay of return of toga.

STEP 4: Issuance of guest car pass for Loyola Heights Campus

Instructional Materials Section will issue the guest car pass for entry to the
Ateneo Loyola Heights campus on September 30 for the Graduation
Rehearsal, and on October 8, for the Commencement Exercises.

STEP 5: Graduation Photo

Graduates may opt to avail of formal graduation photo by a third-party
supplier contracted by AGSB.

Package rates are as follows:

Package A: Formal Photo Package and Graduation Rites Photo
                     Price: P 2,050.00

Package B: Graduation Rites Photo
                     Price P 693.00

STEP 6: Membership to the AGSB Alumni Association, Inc. (AGSBAAI)

Graduates may opt to avail of lifetime membership to the AGSBAAI.
Membership fee is P 2,500.00 and to be paid directly to AGSBAAI.
This is not a compulsory membership.

STEP 7: Inclusion in the Yearbook

The AGSBAAI publishes the yearbook for the graduating batch. The
yearbook costs P 2,500.00 and to be paid directly to AGSBAAI. Inclusion
in the yearbook is not compulsory.

(Attendance at the rehearsal is a strict requirement for all who intend to join the commencement exercises.)
Togas, graduation programs, and invitations will be distributed at the Grade School Cafeteria immediately after the rehearsal. The invitation cards will also serve as the guest entrance tickets to the Irwin Theater for the Baccalaureate Mass and Commencement Exercises. Each graduate is allowed to invite two (2) guests to the ceremony.

Some additional reminders:

1. The following is the prescribed attire for all candidates for graduation. We reserve the right to refuse entry for any candidates for graduation who are not properly attired for the occasion:

Males: Plain, light-colored long-sleeved polo shirt with necktie; black trousers; black shoes
Females: Long-sleeved or short-sleeved dress; black closed-toed shoes

2. Parking will be available immediately outside the Irwin Theater and in the adjacent Parking Areas 2 to 7 (P2 – P7). The Grade School parking area (inner driveway) will be used by the University and School Officials, Guest Speaker, AGSB Faculty and Special Guests. Only cars with beige-colored Guest Car Passes will be allowed to enter this inner driveway.

3. The Loyola Heights campus of the Ateneo de Manila University is a secure area. The university enforces a number of rules and regulations related to entry into the Loyola campus to ensure the safety of the community. The following will be observed:

a. Vehicles of AGSB administrators, faculty, staff and candidates for graduation with valid APS-Rockwell stickers (Year 2015-2016 or Year 2017-2018) will be allowed to enter the campus.

b. Vehicles without the aforementioned APS-Rockwell stickers may enter the campus by using the blue Guest Car Pass which will be issued to all graduates. The pass should be displayed on the dashboard (driver’s side) before entry into the ADMU campus and should be left there until after the vehicle has exited the campus.
