The 2019 Baccalaureate Mass and Commencement Exercises of the Ateneo Graduate School of Business (AGSB) will be held on Sunday, November 24, 2019 at the Hyundai Hall, Arts Wing, Areté, Ateneo de Manila University, Loyola Heights, Quezon City.

The Mass will be celebrated at 3:45 in the afternoon to be followed immediately by the Graduation Ceremonies.

The schedule of graduation-related activities is presented below. The important details and instructions should guide you in your planning. I ask for everyone’s cooperation in ensuring a successful and meaningful ceremony.

A. Pre-Graduation Activities
October 17 (Thursday), and October  18 (Friday), from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m., or on October 19 (Saturday),from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

STEP 2: Payment of the Graduation, Diploma, and English Translation Fees

N.B. A P200.00 late payment penalty will be charged for all payments made
after October 19, 2019. Last day of confirmation/payment is November 8, 2019.

STEP 3: Toga Measurement

Graduates should pay the toga rental fee and refundable security deposit through bank
deposit or online payment to any of the following accounts, all in the name of GSA Academic Regalia Shop:

  • BPI SA # 3089 2011 43
  • BDO CA # 0086 5800 2929

Validated deposit slip or printed transfer confirmation should be submitted to GSA Regalia representatives when you come to be measured for your togas. These representatives will not accept cash payments on the day of measurement.

Toga rental fee is P 1, 000.00 and security deposit is P 3, 000.00. The security deposit will be refunded upon return of the toga immediately after the graduation ceremonies. There is a penalty of P 500.00 per day for any delay in the return of the toga.

STEP 4: Issuance of guest car pass for Loyola Heights Campus

The Instructional Materials Section (IMS) will issue the guest car pass for entry to the Ateneo Loyola Heights campus for the rehearsal on November 23 and for the Commencement Exercises on November 24 .

STEP 5: Graduation Photo

Graduates may avail of an optional formal graduation photo package from Tinoley Digital Photography. Kindly click the Ateneo GSB 2019 Photo Package offered to the students for cost and inclusions. Tinoley has been the official photographer of AGSB for the 2016 graduation and has been the official photographer for the Ateneo Law School, Loyola Schools, and Senior High School for this year.

STEP 6: Membership in the AGSB Alumni Association, Inc. (AGSBAAI)

Graduates may opt to avail of lifetime membership in the AGSBAAI. Membership fee is P 2,500.00 and should be paid directly to AGSBAAI. This is not a compulsory membership.

B. Graduation Rehearsal
November 23, 2019 (Saturday), 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 nn,

(Attendance at the rehearsal is a strict requirement for all who intend to join the commencement exercises.)

Togas, graduation programs, and invitations will be distributed immediately after the rehearsal.   The invitation cards will also serve as the guest entrance tickets to the venue for the Baccalaureate Mass and Commencement Exercises.  Each graduate is allowed to invite only two (2) guests to the ceremony.

Additional reminders:

  1.  The following is the prescribed attire for all candidates for graduation. We reserve the right to refuse entry to any candidate who is not properly attired for the occasion:
    • Males: Plain, light-colored long-sleeved polo shirt with necktie; black trousers; black
      shoes
    • Females: Long-sleeved or short-sleeved dress; black closed-toed shoes
  2. Parking will be available at the North and Northwest parking areas.
  3. Bring ADMU ID on rehearsal and graduation day.
  4. The Loyola Heights campus of the Ateneo de Manila University is a secure area. The university enforces a number of rules and regulations related to entry into the Loyola campus to ensure the safety of the community. The following will be observed:
    • Vehicles of AGSB administrators, faculty, staff and candidates for graduation with valid APS-Rockwell stickers (Year 2018-2019 or 2019-2020) will be allowed to enter the campus.
    • Vehicles without the aforementioned APS-Rockwell stickers may enter the campus by using the blue Guest Car Pass which will be issued to all graduates. The pass should be displayed on the dashboard (driver’s side) before entry into the ADMU campus and should be left there until after the vehicle has exited the campus.
